Eric James Rickard
Eric (he/him pronouns) is a 26-year-old writer, performer and academic from the UK. He gained his BA (Hons) in English and Creative Writing from Falmouth University in 2019, and his Master's in Victorian Gothic History, Literature and Culture from the University of Portsmouth in 2022.He's especially interested in Gothic stories and queer history.In February 2021 his first book 'Exoskeletal', a short poetry and prose collection was published as part of the My Story: LGBT+ Micro-commissions exhibition at The Box Museum, Plymouth.Exoskeletal is available to purchase here.Outside of academia he reads an awful lot of fantasy and horror, he dances, and currently works in SEND education.Sidebar art: One of the illustrations featured in Exoskeletal, by Beckett Thornber @eelfleece
